A word’s size is its burn against the room: the median burn of the seven days before it, never below 1,000 zc. Ten times the room makes a card and three days on the front page; a hundred times makes it large, for seven. Computed once from chain data; it never changes. Below that, a word is a row in its day — on the record, forever, in full.
